Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, met today with Mr. Alpha Baccar Barry, Minister of Technical Education, Vocational Training and Employment of the Republic of Guinea, on the sidelines of his participation in the World Summit of Governments held in the UAE, in order to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the field of technical education, especially in the field of technical education. During the meeting, Dr. Reda Hegazy stressed the importance that the Egyptian state attaches to technical education, whether through the expansion of technical education schools and applied technology or by providing students with competencies needed by the local, regional and international labor market.
The minister added that the ministry takes into account the application of international standards in teaching, training and evaluation methods, and the curricula used in schools of technical education and applied technology, pointing out that the ministry is working on applying specializations with priority set for the state, and the number of these disciplines applied in schools of technical education and applied technology has reached 70 majors.
Dr. Reda Hegazy expressed the readiness of the Egyptian Ministry of Education and Technical Education to provide training packages for teachers of technical education in the Republic of Guinea in the field of agricultural development, with the aim of transferring Egyptian expertise in this field and developing the educational system in the Republic of Guinea.
For his part, the Minister of Technical Education, Vocational Training and Employment of the Republic of Guinea praised the great development witnessed by the technical education system in Egypt, expressing his country's aspiration to benefit from Egyptian expertise and benefit from it in the field of agricultural development.
