Minister of Education Heads to Riyadh to Participate in the Second Human Capability Initiative)

Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, headed to Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, today to participate in the second edition of the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) Conference under the theme "Beyond Future Readiness." The conference will be held on April 13 and 14, 2025, and is organized by the Human Capability Development Authority and under the generous patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Minister is scheduled to present the most prominent features of the Egyptian experience in developing general and technical education, efforts to align it with labor market requirements, and the importance of digital transformation and cooperation between the government and the private sector in developing future skills.

His Excellency the Minister of Education and Technical Education will also hold a series of bilateral meetings with a number of ministers of education and senior officials from the countries participating in the conference. The aim is to exchange experiences, explore prospects for joint cooperation, and learn about the latest international initiatives and practices in the field of human capacity development and the development of education and training systems.

This participation underscores the Arab Republic of Egypt's commitment to strengthening regional and international cooperation and continuing its efforts to develop education as a pivotal element in sustainable development strategies and building the human being of the future.

The Human Capacity Development Initiative Conference is a global platform aimed at reviewing policies and innovative solutions for developing human capital, with broad participation from thought leaders, policymakers, and education and skills development experts from around the world.

The conference will be held under several key themes, including transforming education for the future, bridging the gap between education and the labor market, promoting lifelong learning, and inclusiveness and equal opportunities.

The current edition of the conference addresses three main themes: "Enhancing Learning Methods," "Honoring Belonging," and "Aligning Work Methods." The conference explores skills, the future of work, education, and technology over two busy days in Riyadh.

The conference hosts more than 300 speakers, including global leaders and experts in policy, investment, academia, and business, who will share their experiences and explore new strategies for enhancing and developing human capabilities in our rapidly changing modern world.
