Minister of Education Makes Surprise Visit to Schools in Biba and Samasta Districts, Beni Suef)

As part of his ongoing field visits to schools across the country, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, made a surprise inspection visit to several schools in the Biba and Samasta educational districts of Beni Suef Governorate to assess performance levels.

The Minister was accompanied on his tour by Dr. Ahmed El-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up, and Supervisor of the Central Administration for the Minister's Office.

The Minister began his tour in the Biba educational district, visiting the Helia Preparatory School for Girls and the Helia New Primary School for Girls. He inspected classrooms and reviewed students' academic progress, emphasizing the need for greater discipline in the educational process at both schools.

The Minister then proceeded to the Samasta Educational Administration, where he inspected Mustafa Kamel (1) Primary School, which has 350 students, and Mustafa Kamel (2) School, which has 809 students attached to the Martyr Captain Salim Younis Habasi Preparatory School for Girls. During his inspection of the classrooms, he reviewed student grade records and weekly assessments to ensure the smooth operation of the school and the application of the regulations governing the educational process.

The Minister also observed the performance of fourth-grade students in social studies and Arabic, and sixth-grade students in mathematics and English, praising their academic level.

Following this, the Minister visited Abdel Hamid Abdel Hafeez Secondary School for Boys, which has 584 students. He held an open dialogue with first-year secondary students regarding their choice between the Egyptian Baccalaureate and General Secondary Certificate systems. The Minister also reviewed with the students the results of the pilot exam in programming and artificial intelligence on the "Kirio" platform.

The Minister was keen to encourage students to continue studying programming and developing their skills in it, considering it one of the most important specializations intertwined with all professions. He pointed out that the Ministry was committed to strengthening cooperation with the Japanese side to grant successful students in the TOFAS program an international certificate from Hiroshima University, qualifying them to work in the fields of modern technology and artificial intelligence.

Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif also made sure to listen to the students' opinions and suggestions, which contribute to developing the educational process.

The Minister concluded his tour by inspecting the Abdul Rahman Ibn Auf Primary School, which has 692 students. He was keen to follow up on the results of the national program for developing students' Arabic language skills and the improvement in their reading and writing levels. He also discussed with a group of students in an Arabic language lesson the extent to which their values ​​were being developed through their academic achievement. He praised the remarkable progress in the students' reading and writing levels and their benefit from the program.

At the end of the tour, the Minister affirmed his continuous monitoring of the educational process in various governorates to continue raising the quality of education and achieving the highest levels of discipline.
