As part of following up on preparations for the new academic year 202/2023, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Major General Mohamed Al-Sharif, Governor of Alexandria, today inspected a number of educational projects in the governorate, where they opened the New Republic Public Schools Complex and the “Welcome to My School” exhibition in the governorate.

Dr. Reda Hegazy and Major General Mohamed Al-Sharif opened the New Republic Public Schools Complex, affiliated with the Sharq Educational Administration, which extends over an area of 4,700 square meters, and includes a total number of classes of 56, for all educational levels, starting from kindergarten to the secondary stage. There are 8 classrooms for kindergarten, 24 classrooms for primary school, 12 classrooms for middle school, and 12 classrooms for secondary school.

The Minister and the Governor inspected the kindergarten halls, a number of school classrooms, and the art education hall. They also reviewed the students’ artistic works while they were attending the Summer Capacity Development Center. The Minister praised the students’ works of drawings, paintings, and metal painting. The Minister urged the students to continue practicing their hobby and developing their skills. Artistic.

The Minister and the Governor of Alexandria also opened the “Welcome to My School” exhibition at the Martyr Hossam Al-Sayed Bahi Girls’ Secondary School, affiliated with the Wasat Educational Administration, which is organized by the Directorate of Education in cooperation with the governorate to provide school supplies to the people of the governorate at a discounted price.

The Minister and the Governor inspected the exhibition, which includes all school tools and supplies for students in the various stages of education, in addition to school uniforms, school bags, and office tools such as notebooks, notebooks, pens, rulers, and others to serve students and parents in the governorate at a wholesale price.

In the same context, the Minister and the Governor of Alexandria inspected the section on community participation, which provides free school supplies to students who are unable to do so. The Minister praised this initiative, to help our students and ease the burden on the Egyptian family.

The Minister and Governor also inspected the students’ works made of wood, fabrics, drawings, handicrafts, and knitting.

The Minister and the Governor reviewed the artistic works of students with special needs, and the Minister praised these works and directed the Minister to encourage and support these students and develop their hobbies.

The Minister also praised the work and efforts of the students participating in the exhibition, noting that the Ministry is keen to provide all aspects of support to serve students and parents, noting that he directed that the exhibition be held in all educational directorates across the Republic.

After that, the Minister and the Governor visited one of the school’s support group halls while the first-year secondary school students were receiving a lecture on the Arabic language subject. The Minister spoke with the students about how they could benefit from these groups, stressing that the best elements from the distinguished teachers are selected for these groups, in addition to explaining them in the educational channels. And platforms, in order to ensure the interests of students and reduce the burden on their families.
