"Education" wins two Egyptian students in the final qualifiers for the International English Language Olympiad (HIBBO 2022) in Italy)

The final qualifiers for the International English Language Olympiad (HIBBO 2022) were held in Italy from the end of September to the first week of October 2022, under the patronage of Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and the supervision of Dr. Randa Shaheen, Head of the Central Department of Public Education, in the context of encouraging students To compete and find a place for them with their peers in the world, and in accordance with the policy of the Ministry of Education to prepare outstanding creative students who have the ability to compete.

 

About (55) countries worldwide participated in the competition, and Egypt won two places in the final qualifiers, the student Nour Wael Saeed Mahmoud from Al-Roots School in Cairo Governorate, in the second place (HIPPO-1), and the student Badr Sherif Abdel Moneim at Al-Nasr National School for Boys in Alexandria in the center. The second category (HIPPO-S10).

 

It is worth noting that the competition was planned and implemented in all its steps, starting with the announcement of the competition, through the preliminary tests and qualifiers that took place in Sharm El-Sheikh, with the participation of many countries, through the victory of our students and the escalation of (9) Egyptian students and their travel to Italy under the supervision of the public education sector.

 

Dr. Randa Shaheen was keen to attend the qualifiers with our Egyptian students in all rounds, whether regional in Sharm El-Sheikh or final in Italy, in order to support and encourage them. For their superiority and ascension to these centers to represent Egypt globally, the Egyptian flag was raised among all the participating countries, and all the participating students, the supervisors, as well as the parents who were with their children, were honored.
