At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Reda Hegazy stressed the need to discipline the educational process and achieve a regular and safe new academic year, stressing continuous follow-up from all members of the educational system during the new academic year, attracting students to schools and adhering to the important and regulating mechanisms and procedures to discipline the process. Educational.

Dr. Reda Hegazy also stressed the necessity of preparing field follow-up plans for administrative leaders and technical supervisors in the educational departments and directorates of schools, intensifying field visits to schools, and reducing the time they are present in their offices. The Minister also directed the necessity of instilling the values of citizenship, belonging, and loyalty to the homeland and emphasizing national constants, the necessity of adhering to saluting the flag, and the performance of the national anthem by students and faculty during morning assembly in all public, private, and international schools, and the necessity of adhering to taking national identity exams (Arabic language, national education, and public education). Religious) for international schools at the level of educational departments, to ensure that students are taught and benefit from these materials, to develop their loyalty and belonging.

During the meeting, Dr. Reda Hegazy issued a number of directives, stressing the completion of simple maintenance work in schools before the start of the academic year, noting that a person responsible for simple maintenance is identified within the school daily to observe any maintenance needs and report them periodically, by For the safety of our students.

The Minister also stressed the need for communication and coordination between crisis and disaster management committees at the level of educational directorates and the General Administration for Crisis and Disaster Management and Risk Reduction at the Ministry’s office, and training students on the evacuation plan in the event of disasters.

The Minister pointed out the emphasis on the commitment to collect the prescribed tuition fees (full or partial payment), in accordance with Ministerial Resolution No. (163) issued on 9/3/2023, regarding determining fees, fines, subscriptions, and fees for additional services received from male and female school students, directing The necessity of searching for and counting social cases, and implementing the exemption from fees for the categories specified in the decision.

Regarding filling the shortage of teachers, the Minister indicated that there are many measures, including the placement of new teachers who are successful in the “30,000 Teachers” competition, which is about to end, and work is underway on appointment controls, indicating that these teachers will be placed starting from the new academic year. .

The minister added that the teacher shortage is also being filled through cooperation with the Ministry of Social Solidarity through university graduates who perform public service, in addition to appointing quota teachers in accordance with the specified controls.

The Minister stressed the intensification of procedures for activating school support groups in various governorates of the Republic and equipping classrooms, while maximizing the role of educational platforms and channels, pointing to the use of the educational channels “Our School” (1, 2, 3) in serving and enriching the educational process at the various stages of pre-university education, starting from the fourth grade. Primary, up to the third year of general secondary school, for all basic subjects in public and official language schools, in addition to continuing to allocate a viewing period for each subject, to display the educational material with the presence of distinguished elements of the school’s teachers accompanied by the students, in order to discuss the content that was viewed, and make the material available. The Minister also indicated that the broadcast of educational channels and educational platforms will be centralized and available to all students, noting that a group of distinguished teachers across the Republic will join these channels, in addition to providing a live broadcast platform for each directorate for all educational levels, as well as creating a special YouTube channel to repeat classes

During the meeting, the Minister confirmed that a package of measures had been directed to alleviate the burden on parents and help students achieve academic achievement, by producing educational and training materials for the curricula for all grades, carried out by distinguished educational cadres, including basic concepts, and helping to make... Maximum levels of achievement for students through integration with textbooks, with the aim of providing a simplified and more detailed explanation to deepen understanding and practice questions for each unit of each academic subject, in addition to the presence of automated tests on each educational unit and ending with a diagnostic and remedial report on the student’s performance and weaknesses, and these will be made available. The Minister also emphasized the availability of question banks within the framework of the “Assessment for Learning” project for all educational levels, starting from the fourth grade of primary school to the third grade of secondary school, for learning for all students, noting that 5,000 teachers have been trained to formulate test vocabulary that measures levels of thinking. As for school activities, the Minister explained that the Egypt Olympics and the School League have been held, and these activities will be broadcast on the Madrasatna channel, as a chapter on maximizing the role of the Sports, Artistic and Cultural Activities Day in cooperation with the Ministries of Youth, Sports and Culture in schools throughout the Republic.

The Minister directed the necessity of activating “Ahlan Madrasati” exhibitions for school supplies, at reasonable prices, through the production unit at the level of educational administrations and directorates, to reduce the burden on the family.

The Minister also directed attention to the specifications of the uniform school uniform for all students in public and private schools, stressing that the uniform school uniform for all male and female students within schools aims to demonstrate the order and harmony of students, and their discipline within schools. This represents a continuation of the goals related to educational work, establishing the rules of discipline and organization, respecting the laws and regulations within the educational institution for male and female students, instilling and supporting the spirit of belonging to the school, by highlighting the specificity of each stage in this aspect, and achieving psychological and social harmony, by eliminating material differences. and social interactions among students, and establishing the principle of justice and equality.

The Minister stressed that no transfers will be made for high school students, whether from one educational department to another or from one educational directorate to another, except through a committee in the ministry.

The Minister also stressed communication with the district heads; To take all necessary measures to ensure that the vicinity of the school and educational facility is free of drains, markets, garbage collections, street vendors, and occupations...) in order to preserve the safety of our students.

The Minister also stressed the prohibition of collecting any sums of money under any names from students or their parents, and the immediate referral to legal accountability of those proven to have violated these instructions.

It was also emphasized to adhere to the provisions of the ministerial decision issued regarding the school discipline regulation, and schools’ follow-up to its implementation, prohibiting the use of physical and psychological punishment for students, and activating the role of the social worker, pointing out that a ministry decision will be issued in this regard that includes conditions and penalties.

The Minister also stressed the need for the directorates to complete the disbursement of textbooks from the Ministry’s stores, in order to deliver them to students at the beginning of the academic year without delay.
