The Ministers of Education, Youth and Sports witness the conclusion of the Arab School Championship activities and honor the winners)

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, witnessed the activities of the final match of the Arab School Championship between the Sultanate of Oman and Lebanon, today, in the Sports Village in the Fifth Settlement.

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, honored the winners of the first, second and third places, where the Sultanate of Oman team won first place with gold medals, the Lebanon team won second place with silver medals, and the Egypt team won third place and received a Bronze medals.

The two ministers also honored the winners in swimming, where Egypt won first place, Kuwait won second place, and Saudi Arabia won third place, which was held on November 20, 21 and 23, inside the swimming pool in the Sports Village.

This came in the presence of Dr. Idris Fathi, Secretary-General of the Arab Union, Dr. Iman Hassan, Head of the Central Administration for Student Activities and President of the Arab Union for Physical Education and School Sports, Dr. Amr Al-Haddad, Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Sonia Donia, member of the Supreme Committee for the Championship, Captain Tamer Fekry, Director of the Championship, and gentlemen members of the Federation. The Arab League for Physical Education and School Sports, members of the Egyptian Federation for School Sports and heads of participating delegations.

It is worth noting that the Arab School Championship included a football and swimming competition for boys and girls, in which 11 teams from eleven Arab countries participated, namely (Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan, Morocco, Kuwait, Sultanate of Oman, Iraq, Algeria, Libya, and Egypt). This will take place from 17 to 27 November, hosted by Egypt.
