The Ministry of Education and Technical Education organized a celebration of computer and information technology competitions, under the auspices of Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education.
The competition aims to build the learner’s personality and provide him with the necessary skills and modern technological tools in line with the new education system centered around a learner who is capable of thinking, creativity and innovation, and who is technically and technically able.
Dr. Randa Shaheen, Head of the Public Education Sector, stressed that advanced digital technology is the basic structure of the global economy, and the main pillar of comprehensive sustainable development, which will only come by working on two main axes: digital transformation and human-building, the mainstay of renaissance and pillar of development. Therefore, the Ministry of Education seeks to build a personal The learner is provided with the necessary skills and modern technological tools through the establishment of competitions.
The head of the public education sector praised the projects presented by the winning students in the competition, in which they used technological programs and tools, and used technological communication tools to exchange content and visions with others, through communication and collaborative teamwork for students to exchange experiences and ideas and develop their talents.
Dr. Abeer Hamed, Director General of Computer and Information Technology Development, explained that the competitions include the “Little Creator” competition for primary school students, the “Create and Innovate” competition for students of the preparatory cycle, and the “Yes We Can” competition for secondary school students, noting that the idea of ​​launching the three computer competitions came In order for the learner to use and employ what he has learned of concepts and skills in computer and information technology curricula in the service of other subjects he learns so that there is complementarity between computer and other subjects.
During the celebration, the students gave a presentation of their winning applied innovative electronic projects, and what they learned in the computer and information technology curricula in the primary, preparatory and secondary cycles in the subject.
The winning students were honored, numbering (42) students, (10) students from the primary stage, (19) students from the preparatory stage, and (13) students from the secondary stage, who represent the 16 winning governorates, namely (Eastern, Western, Qena, Beni Suef, Damietta, Qalyubia, Dakahlia, Aswan, South Sinai, the Red Sea, Beheira, Fayoum, Sohag, Marsa Matrouh, Ismailia, and Kafr El-Sheikh), and (18) of the mentors of the general computer and information technology course for the winning governorates were honored.
