The Minister of Education is following up the implementation of the Ministry's projects within the "Decent Life" initiative)

Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, met with the leaders of the ministry; To follow up on the ministry's efforts and contribution to the presidential initiative "A Dignified Life".
The meeting was attended by Dr. Reda Hegazy, Deputy Minister for Teachers’ Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister for Technological Development, Ilham Ibrahim, Head of the Services and Activities Sector, Major General Yousry Salem, Director of the General Authority for Educational Buildings, and Nevin Hammouda, Advisor to the Minister for Strategic Relations and supervisor of Egyptian-Japanese schools.
Dr. Tarek Shawky stressed that the ministry is making every effort to support and implement the national project "A Dignified Life", which works to improve the quality of human development services, especially education, and targets more than half of Egypt's population, in one national project in different governorates and villages.
The meeting dealt with following up on the implementation of the ministry’s sectors plan within the efforts of “a decent life”, including educational buildings, to work on constructing 14,000 classrooms, and maintaining and raising the efficiency of 25% of the existing dilapidated schools; To reduce classroom density rates, end the problems of multiple study periods, serve areas deprived of educational services, increase the rate of kindergarten absorption, replace invalid schools, and follow up on the implementation of the second component of the agreement with Japan after 100 public schools with decent life schools and the application of the expanded package for basic Tokatsu activities and building smart classrooms nationwide as part of the shift towards achieving digital learning and improving skills-based learning.
The meeting also reviewed the follow-up of targeted treatment programs for students with low achievement and dropouts from education and adult literacy, and the activities sector plan, which includes implementing and equipping mini-science clubs within village schools and providing them with bags for scientific experiments, preparing educational films to develop students’ talents and personalities, in addition to holding seminars to improve the standard of living Raising environmental awareness in these villages, and preparing art exhibitions and exhibitions of handicrafts produced by school students.
