"Education": Implementation of the training program "She is for a digital future" for 450 women leaders

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education has implemented the training program “She is for a digital future” for a number of women working in the ministry, in cooperation with the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, which is organized with CISCO and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), which is held via the Zoom electronic platform.
Randa Halawa, head of the central administration of the Center for the Preparation of Educational Leaders, confirmed that the training program "It is for a digital future" targets 450 female trainees from the Ministry's office and educational directorates at the level of the Republic, in light of the ministry's keenness to cooperate with the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development. Which aims to invest in human capital and enhance competitive knowledge and skills in light of the sustainable development goals and achieve Egypt’s Vision 2030.
Randa Halawa added that one of the objectives of this program is to develop and enhance the capabilities of female workers in the ministry to bridge the digital divide, develop knowledge of sustainable development goals, financial inclusion and gender mainstreaming, as well as to achieve equal opportunities and gender justice, through the National Strategy for Women Empowerment.
Randa Halawa pointed out that the training includes several axes: computer basics, complete knowledge of the social network, in addition to a training entitled Introduction to Cyber ​​security, and its axes are the need for electronic security, data protection and privacy, and enterprise protection. In addition to a set of training programs under the auspices of UNDP, including a lecture on the adoption of sustainable development goals in our lives, access to financial inclusion, and the generalization of the concept of gender equality.
