Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held a meeting with the leaders of the Directorate of Education, directors and agents of educational departments, directors of qualitative stages, and general directors of academic subjects, in Dakahlia Governorate, at the headquarters of the governorate’s general office. This is to follow up on the executive mechanisms and procedures for developing the educational process, to check on the discipline of exams, and to review the preparations for the general secondary certificate exams.

This came in the presence of Dr. Ayman Mukhtar, Governor of Dakahlia, Nasser Shaaban, Director of the Directorate of Education in the governorate, Hisham Jaafar, Director General of Legal Affairs in the Ministry, and Wael Shaarawy, Director General of Financial and Administrative Guidance.

At the beginning of his speech, the minister stressed that education is national security, and the decisions and measures taken by the ministry to ensure the regularity of exams came to ensure justice and equal opportunities and express the state's strength in the face of corruption, indicating that the cause of the incident of leaking the social studies exam for the middle school certificate has been identified and referred. to the Public Prosecution.

Dr. Reda Hegazy said: "The ministry monitored all the violations that occurred during the exams, and legal measures were taken in their regard."

The minister also emphasized the importance of their role in achieving discipline and regularity of the educational process in the governorate, and overcoming all obstacles by defining duties and responsibilities and commitment to implementing important mechanisms and procedures, as well as commitment to continuous follow-up by all members of the educational system.

For his part, the Governor of Dakahlia expressed his appreciation for the tangible efforts of Dr. Reda Hegazy in developing the pre-university education system in Egypt, setting and implementing serious plans for development on the ground, and his keenness to continuously follow up to serve the educational process.

During the meeting, the Minister reviewed the mechanisms and procedures taken by the Ministry to develop the educational system, explaining that the Ministry had stressed the discipline of conducting end-of-year exams, for transfer classes, and the preparatory certificate, and adherence to all regulated and issued controls in this regard, and an emphasis on not allowing any cases of fraud with Take all measures announced by the Ministry to combat fraud in all its forms.

In this regard, the Minister stressed that it is not allowed to be present in the vicinity of the committees before and during the holding of exams. The Minister also instructed the directors of the educational directorates to announce the results of the exams immediately after the completion of the correction and review process.

The minister also reassured the safety of procedures in preparation for the general secondary exams, explaining that in order to achieve justice and equal opportunities among students, the ministry stressed adherence to a number of strict procedures and controls to prevent fraud in committees, which includes the formation of a committee to examine student transfers, especially the third secondary grade, and emphasizing not allowing By holding general secondary examination committees in committees in which mass fraud or riots occurred previously, as well as ensuring that students do not enter the committees with any means to assist cheating, and covering various examination committees throughout the republic with surveillance cameras to monitor any acts of fraud within the committees, and using the electronic stick for inspection and confirmation On the recycling of workers within the departments in the high school committees, in addition to the implementation of Ministerial Resolution No. (34) of 2018 regarding regulating the conditions for exam cancellation and denial of it, and Law No. (205) of 2020 regarding combating acts of breaching exams.

Dr. Reda Hegazy also emphasized the availability of sufficient numbers of concept booklets for high school students during examinations in all educational directorates.

During the meeting, the minister affirmed that the ministry is working on the professional development of the teacher, enhancing his role and providing him with the skills of the era that enable him to interact with a student surrounded by an electronic and digital environment. Ministry.

The minister indicated that the ministry has defined the controls for training successful new teachers in the "30,000 teachers competition", to provide the participants with knowledge, skills and attitudes towards practicing the teaching and learning processes, and to qualify them educationally and train them in the teaching methods developed in accordance with the new learning system.

The minister also directed the development of an integrated plan for the speedy placement of new teachers according to the distribution at the level of each directorate, after passing the tests that are carried out by a concerned party and submitting the appointment documents.

The minister stated that in light of the political leadership's interest in developing the educational process, the presidential initiative was announced to select 1,000 school principals from young teachers, which includes many steps and controls for selecting the most efficient school principals, who are given comprehensive training with full residency for a period of 6 months, and whoever passes this The program earns a diploma in educational leadership and national security.

The minister directed the activation of school activities and expanding their scope in the governorate, and work to discover and nurture artistic, cultural and artistic talents, and directed the preparation of a national theatrical performance from the national heritage of the directorate, in preparation for choosing the best play at the level of educational directorates and honoring those in charge of it, stressing the importance of school theater and its role in re-transmitting the spirit Art and its development in schools.

The minister also stressed the follow-up on the implementation of school support groups to improve the academic level of students, in light of the mechanisms and controls regulating them, with an appropriate financial fee, in order to reduce the burden on parents, directing the importance of sustainability in their implementation for the benefit of students and the educational process.

The minister pointed out that technical education is witnessing a huge boom, and that applied technology schools have changed the mental image of technical education in Egypt and have become a model that can be exported regionally and internationally, due to the theoretical and practical studies it possesses with industrial partners in accordance with international standards, in order to provide students with the necessary experiences that burden them. It qualifies them for the internal and external labor market.

At the end of the meeting, the Governor of Dakahlia presented the governorate shield to the Minister of Education in honor of his efforts in developing the educational system.
