The Minister of Education and the Governor of Dakahlia inaugurate two official international schools “IPS”
Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Dr. Ayman Mukhtar, Governor of Dakahlia, opened (2) official international schools “IPS” and the Egypt Integrated Language School “EILS” in the governorate.
The Minister and the Governor opened the International Public School in Mansoura IPS-Mansoura, where they inspected the school, which includes two stages of kindergarten and the primary stage until the fifth grade of primary school. The school also teaches the British curriculum, in addition to national and national identity subjects. The number of classes in it reaches 28 classes, and the building accommodates... 56 classrooms, with an average of four classes and growing until the end of the secondary stage, in addition to laboratories and activity rooms.
The Minister and the Governor subsequently went to open the Misr Integrated Language School in the village of Demira, Talkha Educational Administration, with an area of 3,251 square kilometers, with a total number of 22 classes, and the classes that were operated were two Fs1 classes.
The Minister directed that school halls be equipped with smart boards (equipped screens), computer laboratories, Fontex laboratories (audio), and playgrounds.
The Minister and Governor also inaugurated the International Public School in New Mansoura, which includes 28 classrooms and an area of 13,225 square metres.
The minister explained that Egypt's integrated language schools are smart government schools that keep pace with the global developments of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and aim to create a distinguished generation capable of keeping pace with global changes, in light of Egypt's Vision 2030. They apply life values and skills practically, and reduce the relative time for midterm and end-of-year tests. In addition to focusing on developing research and teamwork skills.
The Minister stressed that these schools are characterized by the application of a full-day system for students, and they are also distinguished by the application and implementation of curricula in accordance with international standards, and education based on creativity, and the study system in them depends on allocating 80% to activities and 20% to tests, in addition to focusing on peer education and building the student’s personality. In addition, its tuition fees are commensurate with middle-income families.
Dr. Reda Hegazy continued that public international schools also provide an international educational model based on curricula designed with the latest trends in the world, noting that they have achieved great successes in light of the strong demand for them, indicating that the Ministry aims to expand their numbers during the coming period.
The Minister explained that the official international schools come within the framework of the efforts made by the Ministry to provide international educational service at lower expenses, indicating that the Ministry aims to expand the number of these schools during the next stage, and to work to provide all the necessary capabilities for this type of education, and to prepare the classrooms appropriately, In addition to focusing on the efficiency of teachers and their adoption of modern teaching methods.
Dr. Ayman Mukhtar Ali stressed that what we see daily in terms of the opening of schools, especially international and language schools, is an unprecedented cultural transfer in the field of developing educational curricula to advance education in light of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s construction of the new republic, pointing out that the renaissance of nations cannot be achieved except through education. .
The Governor appreciated the efforts made by Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education, to develop educational curricula to advance the educational process in Egypt, noting that the Minister, since assuming his duties, has been very keen to support teachers, solve all their problems, fill the deficit in schools, and train them on the latest modern technological means because they are the backbone. For the educational process, without the teacher, without his qualification and training, there will be no successful educational process.
