"Education": 828 students deserve sports incentive scores for this year

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the preparation of lists of students who are eligible for mathematical incentive grades for the year 2023, in preparation for sending them to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the Universities Admission Coordination Office to add them to the students’ results.

The Ministry stated that the total number of high school students who obtained the sports incentive for their athletic excellence this year is (828) students, as the total number of students who obtained the sports incentive in individual games is (424), with (243) for boys and (181) for girls.

As for group games, the total number of students who received the sports incentive is (404), with (215) for boys and (189) for girls.

The ministry indicated that the games to which the incentive of sports excellence applies in the republic’s championships, with regard to individual games, are swimming, artistic gymnastics, weapons, table tennis, tennis, bicycles, diving, karate, taekwondo, athletics, judo, boxing, and wrestling. As for team games, they are basketball, football, handball, and volleyball.

The ministry added that the sports motivation scores are added to the total total with the high school result, according to tournaments or courses and levels of athletic excellence.
