"Education": 5 students participated for the first time in the international competition in the field of Microsoft software applications

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education, through the Quality and Information Technology Sector, the General Administration of E-Learning participated in the international competition in the field of Microsoft software applications (Championship MOS World), with five students from schools in different governorates for the first time to represent the Arab Republic of Egypt in the competition, in cooperation with Certiport Company ; This is due to the belief in the role played by the Ministry in enriching and spreading the culture of digital transformation, developing students’ technological skills and enhancing their creativity.
This competition is one of the most important international competitions in the world in testing contestants on the skills of using the Microsoft Office program. The competition targets students from 13 to 21 years of age at different educational levels, and more than 60 countries around the world participate in it.
The ministry indicated that the five students were selected after several local qualifications, in which about 4,000 students participated in the Republic. They were trained through development centers, and under the supervision of the General Administration of E-Learning in the Quality and Information Technology Sector, and then filtered to 1,000 students who were tested for international exams. Then, the top 100 students were chosen at the level of the Republic, and they were hosted in a three-day camp in the Education City in 6th of October.
The participating students are: Mahmoud Imad Lotfy, El Sebaei Official Language School, Cairo Governorate, Mahmoud Fathy Mohamed, El Tawfiqia Secondary School, Cairo Governorate, Ziad Sami Abdel Majid, El Shaheed Ibrahim Mohamed Secondary School, Qalyubia Governorate, Shahd Saad Hendawy, Martyr Hisham Barakat School, Kafr El Sheikh Governorate, and El Talib Mahmoud Talaat Al-Khasht Secondary School for Boys in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate.
It is worth noting that the international exams will be held on Wednesday, November 10, in the Education City on the 6th of October.
