Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, met today with Dr. Salim bin Muhammad Al-Malik, Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), at the organization’s headquarters in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, where they discussed developments in cooperation in the field of capacity building for teachers and developing their skills to keep pace with developments in technology applications. and investment in the development of the educational process.

This came in the presence of Ambassador Yasser Othman, Ambassador of Egypt to Morocco, the delegation accompanying the minister, Dr. Abd al-Ilah Benarfa, Deputy Director General of ISESCO and a number of directors of departments in the organization.

During the meeting, Dr. Reda Hegazy expressed his pleasure at visiting ISESCO headquarters, appreciating the role played by the organization in supporting the efforts of its member states in its fields of competence, and its keenness to contribute to the modernization of educational strategies.

For his part, Dr. Al-Malik affirmed the organization's keenness to continue fruitful cooperation with the Arab Republic of Egypt in the fields of education, science and culture, noting the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for the ISESCO Youth Year, which will witness the launch and implementation of many initiatives, programs and activities for the youth of the Islamic world to be implemented throughout the year. Full of the launch date, which will be in a major international celebration in Cairo during the coming period.

The meeting discussed the developments of programs and projects that are being implemented in cooperation between ISESCO and Egypt in the field of education, foremost of which is the project of international professional certificates in teaching, which will benefit 2,000 male and female teachers in a number of Egyptian governorates. Its first phase will start soon, and ISESCO is implementing it in cooperation with the Ministry in In the field of teacher training, the implementation of ISESCO's project to improve water and sanitation services in a number of Egyptian schools was discussed.

At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to continue coordination between ISESCO and the Ministry of Education and Technical Education in Egypt, to achieve more cooperation between the two sides.

Subsequently, Dr. AlMalik accompanied Dr. Reda Hegazy on a tour of the International Exhibition and Museum of the Biography of the Prophet and Islamic Civilization, which is currently hosted by ISESCO headquarters, where Dr. Reda Hegazy expressed his admiration for the rich information presented by this great scientific edifice about the biography of the best of mankind, peace and blessings be upon him, using the latest Presentation techniques.
