The Minister of Education participates in the conclusion of the activities of "Cairo, the capital of culture)

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, participated in the closing ceremony of the activities and events of "Cairo, the Capital of Culture in the Countries of the Islamic World", which was held at the Egyptian Opera House, under the auspices and presence of Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, and Dr. Salem Bin Muhammad Al-Malik, Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).

The events began with artistic and heritage performances in the Opera House Square, with the participation of the "Tanoura Heritage, Port Said, Aswan, and Eastern Folklore" troupes of the General Authority for Cultural Palaces, followed by a performance of the operetta " Here is Cairo”, vision and direction by Khaled Jalal, vocal performance by the artist, Ahmed Fouad Selim, commentary writing, Emad Abdel Mohsen, scenography and cryograph, Walid Awni, with the participation of the “Reda Folklore” teams, affiliated to the Artistic House of Arts Folklore, Sohag for Folklore, affiliated to the General Authority for Cultural Palaces, the two modern dance troupes, and the Children's Choir of the Talent Development Center, which are affiliated with the Egyptian Opera House.

The activities of “Choosing Cairo as the Capital of Culture in the Countries of the Islamic World” launched its program in April of last year, with a huge celebration in the northern wall of Cairo. Which continued throughout the year, with the participation of ISESCO countries, in addition to the creative Ramadan agenda for the year 2022, which included 1479 intellectual and artistic events, in addition to the celebrations titled "Egyptian Centipedes" and aimed at celebrating symbols and flags.
