Today, Saturday, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held a meeting with the Director of the Directorate of Education in Ismailia Governorate and the directors of educational departments. This is to discuss mechanisms for activating school support groups during the coming period in all governorates, which the ministry launched since the beginning of the second semester, as well as discussing a number of important educational files.

The minister emphasized that organized mechanisms and controls have been put in place to implement school support groups; To improve the academic level of students, with an appropriate financial reward and reduce the burden on parents and consider it optional in the study materials for students at the educational administration level for the preparatory and general secondary certificates, and at the school level for transfer classes, pointing out that the teacher gets his dues after completing the group.

During the meeting, the Minister directed that school support groups be managed professionally, overcome obstacles that may be posed by routine procedures, start procedures for preparing additional halls for school support groups immediately after the high school exams, and provide them with all capabilities to ensure their sustainability and the need to take the necessary measures so that school support groups become an attractive factor for our students. .

The minister also explained that he directed the preparation of special halls for these groups in a specific number of schools within each educational department to receive students, and to choose the best distinguished teachers to teach various subjects in school support groups, especially for the preparatory and secondary certificates stage.

The minister added that in order to maintain the regularity of the exams, especially the preparatory certificate, the preparatory certificate exam will be based on the Bucket system, starting from the next academic year.

Dr. Reda Hegazy also confirmed that the Ministry has taken strict measures to ensure the regularity of exams and to detect any cases of regular or electronic fraud at the same time.

In order to advance the education system with all its elements, the minister referred to the presidential initiative to appoint 150,000 teachers over a period of five years, at a rate of 30,000 teachers annually.

Dr. Reda Hegazy also praised all the efforts made to prepare and implement the educational qualification package and the mental and physical training program in the various training departments nationwide for the successful teachers in the 30,000 teacher competition.

The Minister of Education also indicated that he directed the development of an integrated plan to quickly place new teachers, after passing the exams conducted by the Military Academy and submitting appointment documents, according to the distribution at the level of each directorate to fill the deficit.

This came in the presence of Major General Muhammad Anis, Secretary General of the governorate, Dr. Muhammad Buhairi, Director of the Education Directorate in the governorate, directors of educational departments, and a number of executive and educational leaders in the governorate.
