 Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Sharqia, opened the Jihan Abdel Hakim School for Basic Education in the village of Sharwaida, affiliated with the Zagazig Center in Sharqia Governorate, as part of the Ministry’s efforts to provide quality education to its students in the governorate, and to establish schools. New features that contribute to reducing student density in classrooms.

The minister and the governor were accompanied during the opening by Dr. Ahmed Abdel Moati, Deputy Governor of Sharqia, Major General Yousry Salem, Assistant Minister for the Affairs of the General Authority for Educational Buildings, Engineer Mohamed Fouad Al-Rashidi, Director of the Directorate of Education in Sharqia, Dr. Hani Abaza, member of the House of Representatives, and Major General Al-Saeed Abdel Moati, the national expert for projects in the governorate. And a number of educational and executive leaders in the governorate.

Dr. Reda Hegazy confirmed that the opening of new schools reflects the Ministry’s commitment to providing high-quality education and a stimulating learning environment for students, which contributes to achieving success and academic excellence for students.

The Minister and Governor inspected the school, which has an area of 2,100 square metres, and includes 18 classrooms for the primary and preparatory stages, and 4 kindergarten classrooms, with a total number of students of 765 male and female students, 199 in the primary stage, and 566 in the preparatory stage.

The Minister and Governor also inspected the resource room and the library, as the school includes networking rooms, teachers’ rooms, psychologists’ and social workers’ rooms, the computer room, as well as the developed laboratory and the fields room.

For his part, Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Al-Sharqiya, confirmed that the governorate pays great attention to the education sector, and strives to provide the necessary financial funds to establish new educational facilities and edifices that contribute to reducing the student density in the classrooms, and providing quality education to our students, to graduate generations capable of contributing to building and development. the society .

It is worth noting that the general plan for educational buildings in the governorate includes 142 projects with a total of 1,881 classrooms.
