Education, organization and administration discuss the next steps in the kindergarten competition
Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, thanked the Central Agency for Organization and Administration for the great effort expended in the implementation of the competition for the appointment of 15,187 assistant teachers (kindergarten), in addition to the competition for the appointment of 14813 assistant teachers (class teacher), which resulted in the discipline of the competition. And the application of standards of transparency, integrity, fairness, and equal opportunities among applicants, which provides the opportunity for distinguished applicants to obtain jobs, and in turn is reflected in the quality of the educational process.
This came during the meeting held by the Minister of Education with Dr. Saleh Al-Sheikh, head of the apparatus at the Ministry's general office, to discuss the next steps regarding the competition for contracting the position of an assistant teacher (kindergarten).
Hijazi confirmed that the Ministry played its role in conducting the training for applicants who passed the electronic test, in implementation of the executive regulations for Chapter Seven of the Education Law issued by Prime Minister Decree No. 428 of 2013, and amended by Prime Minister Decision No. 2297 of 2022, which states that: It is not permissible to contract unless after passing the trainings specified by the Minister of Education and Technical Education.
The Minister stressed that the government jobs portal
is the only official mechanism for following up on the applicant for the stages of the competition, including notifying him of the training date and location.
For his part, Dr. Saleh Al-Sheikh announced the opening of applications for the supplementary competition for the contracting competition for 3,197 assistant teacher (kindergarten) jobs in 14 governorates, starting from Wednesday, October 12, until Thursday, November 10, on the government jobs portal website These governorates include Cairo, Qena, Sharkia, Luxor, Giza, Sohag, Aswan, Qalyubia, Matrouh, South Sinai, Assiut, Suez, the Red Sea, and Port Said.
Both Hegazy and Sheikh stressed the need to pay attention to the application process and not rely on others in this matter, and to ensure that all required documents are uploaded in accordance with the announcement and its conditions... Provided that the registration page of each applicant is followed up on the government jobs portal only to know the next steps.
It is worth noting that the conditions for applying to the competition include that the applicant has the Egyptian nationality, is of good conduct, has a good reputation, and has not been previously convicted of a felony or a freedom-restricting penalty for a crime against honor or trust, unless he has been rehabilitated, and that he has not been rehabilitated. He has previously been dismissed from service by a judgment or final disciplinary decision, unless at least four years have passed since its issuance. It is also required that the age of the applicant not be more than 35 years from the date of publishing the basic announcement on June 27, 2022, and that the applicant is a graduate of the Faculty of Kindergarten Education, Or the College of Early Childhood Education, or the Kindergarten / Early Childhood Departments of the Colleges of Education or Specific Education, or a holder of a professional diploma from one of the Colleges of Kindergarten Education or Colleges of Early Childhood Education after the first university degree, taking into account that the applicant’s general grade is not less than (Good). And he must pass the scheduled exams, training to fill the job, medical examination, and drug analysis for those who passed the exams. .
