Minister of Education and Technical Education meets his Greek counterpart
Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, met with Mr. Kyriakos Pierrakakis, Minister of Education of Greece, on the sidelines of his participation in the activities of the "Digital Learning Week 2024" conference in France, organized by UNESCO, during the period from September 2 to 5, 2024, in the presence of Ambassador Alaa Youssef, Ambassador of Egypt to France.
At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif praised the depth of the distinguished relations between the two countries in various fields, stressing Egypt's keenness to exchange expertise with Greece in the field of pre-university education.
Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif reviewed the state's efforts in developing pre-university education in Egypt, which aim to improve students' educational experiences in a positive way through the new education system, in cooperation with a number of partners, by providing new curricula and developing both teaching tools and educational means.
For his part, Mr. Kyriakos Pierrakakis, Minister of Education of Greece, stressed the strong relations between Egypt and Greece, praising the Egyptian efforts in developing education and moving towards introducing technology into the educational process, noting that education is a very important point for discussing the exchange of experiences in the history of relations between Egypt and Greece.
The meeting discussed enhancing ways of cooperation and exchanging experiences between the two countries regarding the development of the pre-university education sector in the two countries, in line with modern technical and professional changes.
