Deputy Minister of Education for Technical Education and a Chinese delegation inspect the "Le Pen - Egypt" workshop at the Advanced

Dr. Mohamed Megahed, Deputy Minister of Education for Technical Education Affairs, accompanied by a delegation from the People's Republic of China, visited the Advanced Technical School for Maintenance Technology in Nasr City, within the framework of cooperation between the two countries in the field of technical education.

This came in the presence of Dr. Muhammad Emara, Head of the Central Administration for Technical Education Schools, and Dr. Amr Basila, Head of the Central Administration for the Development of Technical Education, and Director of the Applied Technology Schools Operation Unit.

This visit comes within a cooperation protocol that includes the establishment of a workshop (Luban-Egypt) at the Advanced Technical School for Maintenance Technology, in cooperation with the Education Commission in the Chinese province of Tiajin, which aims to provide a modern model for technical education.

Dr. Mujahid indicated that the Advanced Technical School of Maintenance Technology was chosen as the headquarters of the Chinese Luban workshop since 2019, as it includes technological equipment and courses in the field of modern car maintenance, and manufacturing using CNC technology.

Dr. Mohamed Mujahid added that the workshop (Luban-Egypt) is currently working on applying advanced study programs 3 + 2, three years as a car repair technician + 2 as a senior vehicle autotronic technician, three years as a metal working technician + 2 as a senior technician for programming and operating control machines.
