Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, received today Ambassador Khairat Lama Sharif, Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Cairo; To discuss strengthening cooperation in the field of developing pre-university education.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways of cooperation in technical education between the two countries, especially after the recent development by the Ministry of Education and Technical Education in the educational process, and the interest in linking graduates of technical schools with the requirements of the labor market, which is evident in the experience of applied technology schools.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, welcomed cooperation with the State of Kazakhstan, which has strong relations with Egypt in all fields, stressing the keenness of the political leadership of the two countries to enhance cooperation in all fields, and expressing his hope to enhance cooperation in the field of pre-university education. and exchange of experiences between the two countries.

Shawky touched on the efforts made by the ministry in developing educational curricula since 2017, noting that the ministry is working to attract more students, by linking the entire technical education to the Egyptian, Arab and global labor market, as well as creating new specializations such as artificial intelligence, jewelry, programming and port work. to meet the needs of the labor market.

For his part, the Kazakh ambassador expressed his happiness with the meeting, stressing that the relations between Egypt and Kazakhstan are strong and distinguished strategic relations, as Egypt enjoys a distinguished position and regional weight in its geographical surroundings, stressing Kazakhstan's interest in strengthening the process of joint cooperation between the two countries.

The ambassador praised Egypt's leading role in the field of education, as well as the level of relations between the two countries in the educational and cultural fields, praising all efforts to develop the pre-university education system in Egypt, noting that cooperation earlier was limited to higher education only, but after the success of the development process. Education in Egypt We were keen on transferring this experience and exchanging experiences among us.
