The Ministers exchanged views on the reforms taking place in the education sectors in Egypt and Finland. The Minister briefed his Finnish counterpart on the latest developments related to curriculum development, school rehabilitation and assessment processes, as well as steps to develop the technical education system in Egypt. In turn, the Finnish Minister reviewed the reforms that The Finnish side recently introduced it to the education system, which includes raising the education age.
The Finnish minister expressed her great admiration for the measures and successes that Egypt has achieved so far in reforming the education system in Egypt, noting that these reforms have been praised globally and that Finland is closely following the reform program, and considers it an important and successful program, as it is in line with the principles of Finnish education.
The Minister of Education praised the Finnish education model, which enjoys a high degree of flexibility and independence, as well as providing educational opportunities for each individual in areas that suit his abilities and interests.
