Dr. Tarek Shawky confirms the political leadership's interest in this national project
Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, met today with the parents of Nile School students; To discuss the Nile Schools file and the Ministry's plan to develop it.
Dr. Tarek Shawky stressed that Nile schools receive the attention and care of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, who always emphasizes the need to expand the number of these schools and raise the level of their quality, as these schools are a national project that provides a distinguished, high-quality educational model, with subsidized expenses, and grants the student A globally recognized certificate equivalent to an international certificate.
Nile Schools, numbering 14 schools nationwide, allow students to obtain two certificates issued by the British University of Cambridge, with the approval of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education.
During the meeting, the minister reviewed the Nile Schools project, in which the number of students nationwide is 7,373 for the academic year 2020/2021 at various school levels, noting that the development of the technological infrastructure of Nile schools included the dissemination of smart screens, computers and an information technology lab.
The minister also made it clear that parents of students are partners in success, and to activate communication, an email will be created for each school to receive inquiries in order to preserve the public interest of students, and the progress of the educational process in Nile schools.
The minister listened to a number of parents’ inquiries regarding Nile schools, where Dr. Tarek Shawky confirmed that the leaders of the ministry concerned with Nile schools are making a great effort to develop schools and expand the establishment of many of them.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier Tarek El-Baz, Head of the General Secretariat Sector, Ms. Sherine Hamdy, supervisor of the central administration for the affairs of the Minister's office, Dr. Amani El-Far, Executive Director of the Misr Foundation for Educational Administration, Sulafa Gouili, Academic Director of Nile Schools, directors of Nile Schools, a number of student parents, and members of the Board Nile School Trustees.
