Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, visited the Egyptian Nile International School in Obour City, in order to follow up on the discipline of the educational process, and to determine the extent of implementation of instructions and adherence to the decisions regulating these schools.

During the tour, the Minister inspected a number of school classrooms, where he inspected one of the seventh grade classrooms during the Arabic language class, and held a dialogue with the students about the extent to which they benefited from and achieved the lessons. He also held a discussion with them about the most prominent challenges they face inside the school, directing them to participate and cooperate to produce more results. Benefit and gain more lessons.

The Minister also inspected another class for the tenth grade during the chemistry class, where he discussed the students’ content of the curriculum. He was also keen to listen to their vision and opinions about the education system within the school. He also asked them about the existence of any obstacles or negatives they face, stressing that the Ministry provides them with all aspects of support and care. To preserve the general interest of students and the progress of the educational process in Nile Schools.

The tour also included the Minister inspecting the computer laboratory and the physics laboratory while conducting a laboratory session for the tenth and eleventh grades. The Minister spoke with the students about their benefit from the practical application of the curriculum, directing them to the importance of equipping themselves with the various skills required by modern jobs.

Dr. Reda Hegazy also confirmed that Nile Schools enjoy the attention and care of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, who always stresses the necessity of expanding the numbers of these schools and raising their level of quality, as these schools are a national project that provides a distinguished educational model with international quality, with subsidized expenses, and grants The student has a globally recognized certificate equivalent to an international certificate.

The minister added that the ministry pays great attention to the file of Egyptian Nile schools, and is striving to develop these schools and expand the establishment of many of them.

During his visit to the school, the Minister held a meeting with the school teachers, stressing the pivotal role of the teacher in developing the educational process and raising the level of students’ academic achievement, directing the need to maintain professional development and teaching skills. He also directed the use of modern educational methods with students.

During his visit to the school, Dr. Reda Hegazy also met with a number of parents and listened to their opinions and suggestions about developing the educational process in the school.

The Minister issued several directives regarding the development of the educational system of the Egyptian Nile International Schools, which centered on the necessity of establishing a mechanism to select the best teachers, motivate them, conduct periodic evaluation of school principals, activate and develop the educational platform for the Egyptian Nile International Schools (LMS), and intensify the use of technology in education. In addition to continuing to activate various sports, artistic and cultural activities for students.

The Minister also emphasized attention to parents’ suggestions to develop the Nile educational system and maintain its distinguished level.

It is worth noting that the Nile Schools, which number 14 across the Republic, allow students to obtain two certificates issued by the British University of Cambridge with the accreditation of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education.

The Minister was accompanied during the tour by Dr. Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up, and Dr. Akram Hassan, Head of the Central Administration for Curriculum Development.
