The Ministry of Education reviews the Operations Room's report on the progress of the final days

On Thursday, July 10, 2025, high school students (new system) took the Biology and Earth Sciences exams for the science stream, the Applied Mathematics exam for the mathematics stream, and the Statistics exam for the arts stream. Students (old system) also took the Biology exam for the science stream, the Statics exam for the mathematics stream, and the Philosophy and Logic exam for the arts stream. A total of 772,148 students took the exams, which were conducted before 1,973 examination committees nationwide.
In the same context, students from the Schools for Excellence in Science and Technology (STEM) took the University Admissions Readiness Test (Biology-Geology) for the Science stream, and the University Admissions Readiness Test (Mathematics) for the Mathematics stream. (295) students from the Schools for the Blind (new system) took the Statistics exam. Students from the (old system) took the Psychology exam in the first period, and the Sociology exam in the second period, before (26) committees.
Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, monitored the progress of the final days of the General Secondary Education Examinations from the Ministry's main operations room. He ensured that the exam papers had reached all committees in the various governorates, and that security teams were ready and that security personnel were present around the committee headquarters.
The Minister also stressed the importance of intensive field monitoring by the directors of education departments and their direct presence in front of the committees to ensure the smooth running of the exams. This is in full coordination with the Ministry of Interior to secure the committees' surroundings and organize the orderly exit of students after the completion of their exams. At the conclusion of today's exams, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif extended his sincere thanks, appreciation, and appreciation to all parties and entities involved in the exam process, emphasizing that they had made tremendous efforts with utmost sincerity and dedication to ensure the best possible outcome.
Before the start of today's exams, Professor Khaled Abdel Hakam, General Director of Secondary School Examinations and Head of the Central Administration for Directorate Affairs, emphasized the need to carefully separate the papers for the old and new systems, as well as for language and Arabic exams. He also emphasized the need to ensure the correct distribution of papers to the examination halls to avoid any errors or shortcomings. He also emphasized the accurate distribution of concept booklets for each subject.

He also extended his continuous support and facilitation of all procedures, which contributed to the smooth and orderly conduct of the exams, reflecting the level of good planning and precise implementation.
Professor Khaled Abdel Hakam also extended his thanks and appreciation to the directors and deputies of the educational directorates and the directors of educational administrations across the country, in appreciation of their great efforts in ensuring the success of the examination process. He expressed his deep gratitude to the working teams, starting with student affairs, passing through the directors of secondary education in the educational directorates, the question distribution centers across the country, and the educational materials development consultants. He commended their exceptional efforts in performing their precise tasks with competence and commitment, as well as their effective coordination and follow-up during the examination period.
The General Director of the General Secondary Examinations praised the fruitful cooperation with the supporting ministries and agencies, most notably the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Communications, as well as all relevant authorities and members of the Central Operations Room, all of whom played an active role in providing a safe and organized environment for the exams to proceed optimally.
