"Education" announces the opening of admission to STEM schools for the academic year 2021/2022

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the opening of the door for admission to students in the first secondary grade in STEM schools for the academic year 2021/2022, in the governorates of (Giza - Cairo - Alexandria - Kafr El-Sheikh - Dakahlia - Ismailia - Red Sea - Assiut - Luxor - Fayoum - Gharbia - Obour - Sharqia - Beni Suef - Qena - Minya - Sohag - Sers El-Layan in Menoufia - Sadat City in Menoufia).
The ministry indicated that the application will be available electronically at the following link: http://emis.gov.eg, where the application form is registered when the application is opened electronically from (Sunday) corresponding to 7/18/2021 until (Sunday) corresponding to 2021/ 8/1 No applications submitted after this date will be accepted.
The Ministry specified that the applicant should have a certificate of completion of the study in the basic education stage according to one of the following cases:
First: The student’s total grades must be (274.5) degrees or more, equivalent to (98%) of the total total. In this case, the student is required to obtain a final grade in at least one of the three subjects (English, Mathematics, and Science).
Second: The student’s total grades must be (266) degrees or more, at a rate equivalent to (95%) of the total total. In this case, the student is required to obtain a final grade in at least two of the three subjects (English Language - Mathematics - Science).
The Ministry indicated that the student will complete the electronic application procedures and print the electronic application form, with the guardian signing it and submitting it to the Student Affairs and Examinations Departments in the educational departments for review and approval with the logo seal with the following documents: “Paste two (2) recent personal photos of the student on the application form, A true copy of the preparatory certificate or an approved success statement, a true copy of the mechanized birth certificate, the fee collection receipt indicating payment, provided that the educational departments receive the required documents after reviewing them carefully and making sure that the student meets the conditions for progress, then collect them and deliver them to the Department of Affairs students in the departments.
The Ministry pointed out that admission tests will be conducted in schools of excellence in science and technology starting from (Sunday) corresponding to 15/8/2021 and until (Wednesday) corresponding to 18/8/2021, and the student will be notified of his sitting number, the date of the test, and the venue of the examination committee electronically.
