The Egyptian-Japanese schools celebrate the conclusion of the origami training activities
The Egyptian-Japanese Schools Unit, in cooperation with the Japanese Embassy, celebrated the conclusion of training art and kindergarten teachers in Japanese origami.
And "origami" or "orikami", is an authentic Japanese art, previously called "orikata", and later changed to "origami", and its name is divided into two syllables in the Japanese language, "ori" which means "folding", and "jami" which means Paper, ie the art of "paper folding".
The origin of origami dates back to the sixth century AD, and one of its most important rules is not to use scissors, as all it takes is an idea and patience to implement it.
The celebration witnessed the distribution of certificates of appreciation to all the participating schools in the presence of a representative from the Japanese Embassy.
