The Minister of Education discusses ways of cooperation with his Palestinian counterpart)

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, received Dr. Amjad Barham, Palestinian Minister of Education and Higher Education, and Ambassador Diab Al-Louh, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and their accompanying delegation. To discuss ways of joint cooperation in the field of pre-university education.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Reda Hegazy welcomed Dr. Amjad Barham, Palestinian Minister of Education and Higher Education, and the accompanying delegation, stressing the depth of the historical and distinguished relations between Egypt and Palestine, and Egypt’s constant keenness to support the brotherly Palestinian people.

For his part, Dr. Amjad Barham praised the continued Egyptian support for the Palestinian people, stressing the importance of joint cooperation in the field of education. He expressed his aspiration to achieve more aspects of cooperation between Egypt and Palestine in the educational fields.

The meeting witnessed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two ministries and overcome all obstacles facing Palestinian students in Egypt through joint coordination mechanisms.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Diab Al-Louh, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and from the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Sadiq Al-Khadour, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Dr. Naji Al-Naji, Cultural Advisor to the Embassy of the State of Palestine, Dr. Iyad Abu Al-Hinud, responsible for academic and research affairs, and Dr. Marwa Abu Accuracy educational expert.

From the Ministry of Education, Major General Alaa Atawiya, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Sherine Hamdi, Advisor to the Minister for International Relations and Agreements and Supervisor of the Central Administration for the Affairs of the Minister’s Office, Dr. Akram Hassan, Head of the Central Administration for Curriculum Development, Professor Khaled Abdel Hakam, Head of the Central Administration for Educational Directorates Affairs, and Dr. Suzi Hussein, Director General of the General Department of International Relations.
