The pavilion of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education in the Green Zone witnessed a great turnout from the participants in the activities of the United Nations Climate Summit (COP27), which Egypt will host in Sharm El-Sheikh from 6 to 18 November.
A number of participants in the Climate Summit were keen to get acquainted with the Ministry's efforts to raise the awareness of students and teachers of the importance of climate change issues, and to integrate the factor of climate change and the environmental dimension in all its projects and curricula.
The pavilion of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education is organizing an exhibition of the winning artworks of the art competition for students from different governorates of Egypt to express climate issues through artworks, under the slogan "A message from Egypt's children to the world", which was organized by the ministry during the last period. The winning students were honored in An artistic ceremony at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilizations.
The Ministry's pavilion includes the projects of students from schools who excel in science and technology STEM, the winners in preparing climate change projects, which aims to find solutions to confront climate change.
The pavilion also includes a "Macket" model for clean, environmentally friendly schools that are fully powered by solar energy, a project that the Ministry is working to implement in 250 schools in different governorates, with the aim of finding ways to survive towards a better future for future generations, to ensure better levels of quality of life in The framework of a healthy, safe and green sustainable development environment.
