The Minister of Education issues a periodical book on announcing the results of the first semester and exam mechanisms for students who failed to take the exam)

Today, Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, issued a periodic book regarding the announcement of the results of the first semester and the mechanisms for examining students who failed the first semester exam for all grades for the 2021/2022 school year.
The periodic book stipulates that due to the completion of the work of the first semester exams for students of transport classes, as well as students of the completion certificate for basic education for the academic year 2021/2022, the following was decided:
- Starting to announce the results of the first semester for students of transport classes at all educational levels, as well as students of the completion certificate for basic education.
- The results of the students of the fourth grades of primary school and students of the first and second grades of general secondary school shall be announced in the form of estimates, according to Periodic Book No. (1) dated 13/1/2022 as follows:
(85 to 100 excellent) (65 to less than 85 very good) (50 to less than 65 good) (below 50 poor).
The results are announced in a clear and visible place in the school, provided that lists are made with the names of the students and each name of the grade obtained by the student is mentioned.
The periodic book also stipulates that students of transport classes who were unable to perform the exams for the first semester with an excuse accepted by the head of the school are held for them in the courses of the first semester and with the same specifications after the end of the mid-year vacation.
As for the third preparatory grade students who failed the first semester exam with an excuse accepted by the Director of the Directorate, supplementary exams are held for them in the first semester courses before the exams of the second semester, and this is done after coordination between the Governor and the Director of the Directorate.
