Minister of Education Praises Decision of Head of Central Agency for Organization and Administration

Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, praised the decision of Eng. Hatem Nabil, Head of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration, to adopt a new mechanism for the results of competitions held by the agency for the ministry to fill assistant teacher positions in various disciplines. He expressed his happiness with the agency's flexibility and innovative solutions to serve education issues and assist the ministry in meeting the education system's need for teachers.
The Minister emphasized that the new mechanism gives those who passed the electronic exam but did not qualify to be among the required number in the governorate in which they applied to work in another governorate that did not meet the required number. This mechanism will contribute to quickly filling the shortage in the number of teachers in various governorates and reduce the need to hold successive competitions to reach the required number in each governorate.
In continuation of this mechanism on the part of the Ministry, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif announced a number of work regulations for applicants who will work in governorates other than their own. These regulations include the commitment to work in the governorate in which the applicant registered his desire during the contract period. Transfer to his governorate will not be permitted until the contract period ends in accordance with the Education Law and the appointment procedures are completed. He stressed that this procedure comes within the framework of ensuring the stability of the educational process and welcoming those who wish to continue in the governorate in which they spent the contract period.
