The Minister of Education arrives in Sharkia Governorate to follow up on preparations for the new academic year
Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, arrived this morning at the headquarters of the General Office of Sharkia Governorate. To follow up on preparations for the new academic year 2024/2025 in the governorate and review the mechanisms and solutions that will be implemented by the various educational departments in the directorate to meet the challenges of student density, fill the teacher shortage, and attract students to schools.
The minister was received upon his arrival at the governorate’s general office by Engineer Hazem Al-Ashmouni, Governor of Sharqia, Dr. Ayman Bahaa El-Din, Deputy Minister, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Moati, Deputy Governor, Engineer Lubna Abdel Aziz, Deputy Governor, Major General Abdel Ghaffar Al-Deeb, Secretary-General of the Governorate, Mr. Mohamed Kajak, Assistant Secretary-General, and leaders. The Ministry, a number of members of the governorate’s House of Representatives, and Mr. Ali Abdel Raouf, Director of the Directorate of Education in the Eastern Province.
At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif stressed his keenness to strengthen all means of cooperation with the governorate to improve the educational process and implement the plans set by the Ministry to improve the quality of education and provide a suitable educational environment for students and teachers. This ensures that the educational process proceeds in a disciplined and attractive manner for students.
For his part, Engineer Hazem Al-Ashmouni, Governor of Sharqia, welcomed Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif and education leaders, stressing the governorate’s commitment to supporting all efforts aimed at improving the educational process and implementing educational plans efficiently and effectively to achieve an appropriate educational environment.
The Minister and the Governor are scheduled to hold a meeting with the directors of educational departments, and a number of school principals in the governorate, to discuss the executive procedures for the ministry’s plan to confront the challenges facing the educational system. In preparation for the next academic year 2024/2025, the Minister and Governor will also inspect a number of school buildings in the governorate.
