The Minister of Education meets with the general directors of school development to discuss preparations for the next academic year
Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held a meeting with the general directors of school development to discuss their work tasks and the role assigned to them, and the ministry's preparations for the new academic year 2022/2023.
At the outset, Dr. Reda Hegazy welcomed the attendees, stressing that the country's political leadership is interested in developing education, encouraging innovation, and working to discover and nurture talented people in all academic subjects and school activities, and hone their skills in all disciplines.
Hegazy said that a committee will be formed to discover talented students among school students, with the general directors of school development and activities in its membership, with the participation of many partners, with the aim of raising Egypt's position locally and globally.
The Minister of Education stated that the Ministry is continuing to develop educational curricula in accordance with the new education system in a way that achieves the desired learning outcomes, noting that the directors general of the development of school subjects is an important element in this process in cooperation with the Curriculum and Educational Materials Development Center.
He stressed that training teachers on the new curricula is the responsibility of the Professional Academy for Teachers and the Curriculum Development Center in cooperation with the directors-general of curriculum development, noting that the teacher is an important element in the education development process.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, thanked the general directors of school development for the efforts made during the last period, calling on everyone to continue working on developing the educational process.
