Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held a meeting today, Monday, with the directors of the education directorates, at the Ministry’s general office, within the framework of a series of periodic meetings, to check on the organizational procedures for the end-of-year exams for transfer classes, the preparatory certificate and to review the procedures for final preparations. For the general secondary exams 2022/2023, as well as following up on the results of the most important instructions related to the educational process.

At the outset of the meeting, Dr. Reda Hijazi stressed the importance of the role of directors of directorates in the educational process, pointing to the need to activate decentralization in decisions related to internal affairs in each directorate, and to quickly solve problems on the ground, stressing the importance of conducting disciplined exams, and the regular and disciplined conduct of end-of-year exams. The school.

During the meeting, the minister reviewed the course of the end-of-year exams, for transportation classes, and the preparatory certificate, stressing the need for discipline in exams; To hold fair exams to serve the interests and rights of students, and not to allow any cases of cheating, while taking all measures announced by the Ministry to confront fraud in all its forms.

The minister also reassured the exams of the first and second secondary grades, directing the follow-up of the electronic fraud committee in the departments, and taking strict measures to prevent fraud. He also directed the directors of the educational directorates to announce the results of the exams immediately after completing the correction and review process.

With regard to high school exams, the minister reassured the integrity of procedures for preparing for exams, stressing the recycling of workers within departments in high school committees, and he also reviewed strict procedures and controls to prevent fraud in committees, indicating that student transfers were prevented and committees that witnessed riots or fraud were excluded Last year, pointing out that surveillance cameras were installed in the committees, to monitor any attempts to cheat and stop them before they take place, and all this is for the benefit of students and the achievement of justice and equal opportunities.

The minister reaffirmed that a barcode will be placed on the bubble sheet and the answer sheet for the essay questions with the student's data, and at the bottom of the paper to ensure the student's right.

Dr. Reda Hegazy was also assured of the availability of concept booklets in each directorate to ensure sufficient numbers of high school students during exams.

The minister also stressed the completion of preparing restrooms for teachers participating in the work of the general secondary exams 2023 in a manner befitting the status of Egyptian teachers, and reviewing all restrooms and raising their efficiency to be suitable for receiving observer teachers.

Dr. Reda Hijazi directed the need to review maintenance work in all high school committees and equip them appropriately to ensure students' comfort during the examination period.

As for the practical exams for technical education, it was directed, during the meeting, that the purchase of the necessary raw materials should be provided before the exams in a sufficient period for the schools of the competencies system.

With regard to the 30,000 teacher competition, Dr. Reda Hegazy thanked and appreciated all the efforts made to prepare and implement the mental and physical training program in the various training departments nationwide, directing the development of an integrated plan for the speedy placement of new teachers, after passing the tests that are carried out by a concerned authority and providing forms. Appointment, according to the distribution at the level of each directorate to fill the deficit.

Minister Reda Hegazy also touched on the presidential initiative to select 1,000 school principals from young teachers, which includes many steps to select the most efficient school principals, as they are given comprehensive training with full residency for a period of 6 months, provided that those who pass this program are granted a diploma in educational leadership and security. In this context, the Minister directed to facilitate the necessary procedures for them and to consider them on a scientific mission.

On the other hand, the minister directed the facilitation of all mechanisms related to school support groups to ensure their sustainability, stressing that the implementation of these groups aims to improve the academic level of students and relieve the burden of the family.

The minister also followed the latest developments related to interest in educational activities during the summer vacation, reviewing the latest developments related to the timetable for preparing a national theatrical show for Egyptian school students, under the supervision of the technical cadres specialized in this field affiliated with the Ministry, and he also reviewed the latest developments related to preparing a theatrical show for students inside each educational directorate.

Dr. Reda Hegazy also confirmed that, within the framework of the presidential initiative, Companions "Capable of Differently", the Ministry circulated guiding boards of the most used signs for deaf and hard-of-hearing students to all schools in the Republic, pointing out that these signs will be placed in the book "Values and the Rights of the Other."

The minister also indicated, during the meeting, that some activities will be added to the "Discover" book, starting from the primary stage, including introducing students to the symbols of hieroglyphic writing, with the aim of promoting the dissemination of the culture of learning about the ancient Egyptian civilization.
