According to the directives of Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, the Ministry held a meeting with colleagues at the Ministry of Higher Education to discuss some important issues related to international certificates, as it was agreed on the final form of super matching work for American diploma students as an exceptional measure for (Grade 12) students this year. The Ministry has confirmed that the student has the right to choose in the work of super matching with the highest score obtained among the exams he passed (SAT I) SAT II) (EST II) (EST I) (ACT I) (ACT II)), indicating that it is from The student also has the right (if he/she wishes) to do super matching in the English language subject reading & writing in both ACT & SAT exams.
The ministry indicated that it has been approved to accept the SAT exam from inside the Arab Republic of Egypt, until 15/2/2021, and for students from outside the Arab Republic of Egypt until 15/8/2021, provided that they provide proof of their legal residency abroad, pointing out that the approval was given. To accept the ACT exam until 15/8/2021 or until new instructions are issued.
The ministry explained that with regard to what is raised about science in the ACT exam, the following has been agreed upon:
A student may be accepted into literary colleges without adding a science subject, and only English and math subjects, and the grades are adjusted to the equivalent of the grades determined for the result of these subjects.
Students may enroll in practical colleges without medical colleges, provided that the student takes the science subject in the ACT I or ACT II exam.
The student may enroll in medical colleges after the student has taken the science subject in the ACT II exam.
- With regard to not studying mathematics in G12 in the French baccalaureate, representatives of the Supreme Council of Universities reported that there is no separate mathematics subject in that certificate and that the academic content of mathematics is studied with subjects (chemistry, physics, biology), and representatives of the Supreme Council of Universities requested Sending the scientific content of these subjects to be presented to the mathematics advisor at the ministry to study the extent to which they include mathematics (1) so that it can be counted among the eligible subjects for medical colleges.
