Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education, met with directors of educational departments and a number of education leaders during his visit to the New Valley Governorate.
The minister stressed that the old educational system has exhausted its purposes and a new education system must be established that matches the times and provides our children with life skills that fit their times.
Dr. Shawky then thanked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who believes in the importance of achieving real change in the field of education, not just a superficial change, even though it is a difficult task that takes a great deal of time to bear fruit.
The minister continued, stressing that changing the concept of learning in society and cultural change is more urgent and difficult than changing curricula or assessment methods, and that solving all educational problems will require time, but the development journey has begun with intellectual construction and the new education 2.0.
