Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, participated in the opening of the activities of the International Education Conference and Exhibition 2022, which will be held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, and whose activities will continue until Wednesday, May 11.

Dr. Tariq Shawqi, Minister of Education and Technical Education, left for Riyadh, where he was received by his Saudi counterpart, Dr. Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sheikh, Minister of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Shawky attended the opening session of the conference with a panel discussion entitled “Educational Policies in the Light of Challenges”, with the participation of His Excellency Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sheikh, Minister of Education in the Kingdom, His Excellency Eng. Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education in the United Arab Emirates, and Dr. Haimi Saavedra, International Director of Education at the Bank International and Professor Steve Smith, Special Representative of the Prime Minister for Education at the United Kingdom Embassy in Riyadh, and the session was moderated by Wiam Al-Dakhil, the presenter.

The session discussed how to deal with challenges and avoid their effects and repercussions, especially in the field of education, what changed in the field of education before and after the Corona pandemic in many countries, and the components of countries that were able to overcome the obstacle of Corona and advance their educational institutions.

This year, 23 countries and more than 50 specialists and experts in education are participating in the conference and exhibition. The activities include 11 sessions. The exhibition also includes 152 international exhibitors and 121 workshops.
