press release
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced a final training contract for students of the first and second grades on the use of tablets in electronic exams, during the days of May 7 and 8, 2022, and to ensure the technological capabilities of the schools in which the exams are scheduled to be held.
This training is directed to students who did not attend the previous training or were unable to perform it in schools that are not equipped to give them another opportunity to update the devices and adapt to the platform, and therefore it is optional and under the supervision of the educational administration.
On Saturday, May 7, 2022, the biology exam will be held for first-year secondary students, and on Sunday, May 8, 2022, the mathematics exam will be held for second-year students.
The ministry explained that the training will be held inside schools equipped to hold end-of-year exams, and the educational directorates (and their affiliated educational departments) will develop the training plan within their schools’ specific committees as committees for end-of-year exams in a way that does not affect students’ performance for exams for subjects that are not added to the total.
She indicated that the application for the examination platform will be updated as of today, so all students are alerted to update the devices, and the directors of the directorates are required to overcome all obstacles (if any) and notify the Ministry of any observations during the training contract.
