"Education" signs a cooperation protocol to launch Ammar 2 School for Applied Technology in the academic year 2023/2024)

Today, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education signed a joint cooperation protocol to launch the Ammar 2 School for Applied Technology in Giza Governorate, which will start the study in the academic year 2023/2024.

The protocol was signed by Dr. Mohamed Mujahid, Deputy Minister of Education for Technical Education Affairs, and Abeer Essam El-Din, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ammar Company.

Dr. Muhammad Mujahid, Deputy Minister of Education for Technical Education Affairs, started a talk, pointing to the ministry’s efforts towards developing education and expanding all its types, in accordance with international quality standards, and in line with the needs of the labor market. With the aim of improving the quality of outputs and levels of professional skill to keep pace with international standards and meet the needs of the labor market of new professions and specializations, and contribute to increasing employment rates for graduates of technical schools, which leads to reducing unemployment among this category and increases its role in meeting the needs required to implement economic and social development plans in Egypt.

Mujahid added that the Ammar 2 School of Applied Technology, which will operate under this protocol in partnership with Ammar Real Estate Company, will have a 3-year study system, and the school's curriculum will be based on 3 main axes, namely, basic and cultural sciences, technical sciences in the field of specialization, and practical training.

In a related context, Dr. Amr Basileh, Head of the Central Administration for the Development of Technical Education and Director of the Operation and Management Unit for Applied Technology Schools, thanked Ammar Real Estate Company for the fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education to develop technical education, stressing the need for the private and public sectors to unite towards Developing technical education, and the ministry’s desire to extend more bridges of cooperation with private sector companies, and its understanding of its needs and requirements.

Basileh added that within the framework of the strategy of building the Egyptian human being launched by the Egyptian state, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education is working to develop the priority sectors identified for the state, in order to qualify trained and qualified technical workers, and provide specialized training to serve the labor market on the latest technological technologies. In order to provide the student trainees with the requirements and needs necessary to learn a profession that qualifies them to achieve an appropriate financial income and added value through accredited certificates, to be able to compete, and to achieve real development and renaissance for Egypt.

On the one hand, Ms. Abeer Essam, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ammar Real Estate Company, said that in terms of corporate social responsibility, as well as the launch of 2022 by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi as a year for civil society, Ammar real estate, tourism and industrial development companies were keen to be one of the arms of the state and the Ministry of Education in supporting Technical education in its field of specialization and its work in the Egyptian market for twenty years and today is the culmination of what the company is doing in teaching young people the profession with correct standards under the umbrella of the Ministry, and supporting changing the culture of society and its view of students of technical education on which the major countries are based.

She added that the Ammar 1 School for Applied Technology will be opened in the academic year 2022/2023 and Ammar 2 School for Applied Technology in the city of 2023/2024, and concluded that the company hopes that this model will be successful until it is present in several governorates, and that it will be a successful experience for all parties, the ministry, the company and the student. .
