"Education" signs a cooperation protocol with Mansoura University to train students of dual education and training in the profession of (medical equipment maintenance technician)
Today, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education signed a cooperation protocol with Mansoura University; To train students of dual education and training in the profession of (medical equipment maintenance technician), within the framework of advanced study programs that have the flexibility necessary to keep pace with developments in the labor market.
The protocol aims to train students and provide them with the skills, information, and behaviors that must be available and proficient, in a way that contributes to providing the labor market with a graduate with scientific and professional specifications supported by scientific application in the university’s workshops and laboratories in the fields of specialization.
The protocol was signed by Dr. Mohamed Megahed, Deputy Minister of Education for Technical Education, representing the ministry, and Dr. Hossam El-Din Salah, Executive Director of the Biomedical Engineering Program at the Faculty of Engineering, as Vice President of Mansoura University.
Dr. Mohamed Megahed stressed that developing technical education is the first step in economic growth, so the Egyptian state considers it one of the priorities of development plans. Pointing out that skilled artistic production is the mainstay of competition in global markets.
The Deputy Minister pointed out that the main objective of modernizing the technical education system is to serve the labor market and develop the Egyptian economy, which is achieved through good preparation for professional technicians, encouraging local products, and achieving foreign investment, in line with the state’s strategy for development and development in all fields.
For his part, Dr. Hossam El-Din Salah welcomed the signing of a cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, which is an important strategic partner, noting that Mansoura University has experience in implementing professional competency levels, and has leadership in the field of training, and training students of dual education and training on The profession (medical equipment maintenance technician) within the university laboratories, in line with the needs of the labor market and linking it to the curricula and courses of dual education and training.
The signing of the protocol was attended by Dr. Ahmed Ashmawy, member of the Technical Education Advisory Council, Dr. Nisreen Omar, member of the Education Committee in the House of Representatives, Ali Abdel Raouf Ahmed, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Dakahlia, and Abdel Qader Ibrahim, Director General of Technical Education in the governorate.
