The Minister of Education signs a cooperation protocol with the "Decent Life" Foundation to enhance joint cooperation in the villages most in need
Today, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education signed a cooperation protocol with the "Dignified Life" Foundation, at the Ministry's general office, with the aim of strengthening the strategic partnership for integration and joint coordination with regard to the axis of education and human building within the framework of the national project "A decent life".
The protocol was signed by Dr. Tariq Shawqi, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Aya Omar, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for a Decent Life, in the presence of a number of leaders of the Ministry and the Foundation for a Decent Life.
For his part, Dr. Tariq Shawky said that in implementation of the directives of the President of the Republic regarding strengthening social protection measures through the implementation of presidential initiatives, especially the “Dignified Life” initiative, which aims to support the neediest and most cared groups, the Ministry is working to implement national initiatives by drawing Policies, follow-up and evaluation of implementation performance and efficient management in partnership with the private sector and civil society.
The minister explained that the goal of this protocol is to work on developing a plan to discover and care for the gifted within the schools in the villages of the targeted governorates, and to form a working team to care for the classes of the gifted, trained and qualified in cooperation with the Academy of Scientific Research and the Ministry of Higher Education represented by universities and the National Academy for Rehabilitation and Training, noting that the ministry aims It also aims to provide teachers with strategies for dealing with talents in light of the curricula of the Ministry of Education, and to deepen the understanding of teachers of talented students, in particular, with the initiative's activities.
The Minister of Education stated that the Egyptian-Japanese schools component was added to the terms of the agreement to work on developing education in the villages targeted by the initiative, by working on applying tokatsu skills to students in the targeted schools, as well as connecting the Internet to the villages of a “dignified life.” The ministry is preparing a base for Data for students in need of adoption and support at different stages in decent life villages, from students with above-average to high-level students.
For her part, Aya Omar, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the "Decent Life" Foundation, confirmed that the "Decent Life" Foundation is working to enhance ways of cooperation in what is applied in the axis of education and human building under the umbrella of the national project "A decent life" and working collaboratively and integratively in discovering, nurturing and adopting talents in the villages. The target is within the framework of the national project “A Dignified Life”, providing material support to students at all educational levels through the resources available to the institution, providing technological support to students, and raising full awareness of the awareness campaigns it includes for students and parents alike, and exchanging data and information and performance follow-up reports. And material cooperation with the agreement of the two parties, and measuring the impact of initiatives on the satisfaction of citizens and targets.
According to the protocol, the role of the “Decent Life” Foundation is focused on supporting and establishing centers for the gifted within the schools of the initiative villages, coordinating and unifying efforts and developing frameworks for cooperation among partner agencies, as well as providing full funding to the governorates of the first phase and developing a financing plan for the remaining stages of the initiative with the support of businessmen and private institutions In addition to concluding a cooperation protocol with the National Academy for Training and Rehabilitation of Youth, to play its role in training and qualifying human cadres that will supervise a decent life classes to nurture talents.
The signing of the protocol was attended by Dr. Reda Hegazy, Deputy Minister for Teachers’ Affairs, Dr. Hala Abdel Salam, Head of the Central Administration for Special Education Affairs, Major General Yousry Salem, Director of the General Authority for Educational Buildings, Nevin Hammouda, supervisor of the Egyptian-Japanese Schools Unit, and from the “Dignified Life” Foundation, Nada Khedr, Director of Initiatives Sector. and Integrated Development, Heba Al-Sharqawi, a member of the Good Life Foundation, and Hend Galal, a member of the Good Life Foundation.
