“Education”: More than 768,692 workers in pre-university education have received the vaccine against the Corona virus)

In the context of interest in the start of the new school year 2021/2022 in attendance in schools, and in the interest of the safety of all workers in the educational system and our students, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the number of workers in pre-university education who received the vaccination against the Corona virus.
The Ministry indicated that the number of workers in all educational directorates who have received two doses of the vaccination, so far, is (266995) by 17%, while the number of workers who have received one dose is (501697) by 31%, and the number of those registered to receive the vaccine is (859942) by 54%, while the number of workers registered (61992) at 4%, out of the total (1604891) number of workers at the level of education directorates in the 27 governorates.
The Ministry of Education had stressed taking the necessary and immediate measures to speed up the registration of workers on the website of the Ministry of Health and Population, stressing that workers will not be allowed to enter the workplace at the start of the school year until after receiving the vaccine, whether in public, private or international schools, and that the regularity of the new school year Schools depend on the rates of teachers receiving the vaccine.
