The Minister of Education issues a periodical regarding instructions for preparing for general examinations (technical and high school diplomas)
Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, issued Circular No. (22) dated 5/25/2023, regarding preparation for the start of public examinations (technical and general secondary diplomas) for the academic year 2022/23, within the framework of concerted efforts. Which contributes to the proper functioning of the examination work committees, and to ensure the achievement of the necessary climate of stability and reassurance for our students.
The periodic book stipulated a warning to take the necessary measures, such as warning all students not to come to the exam committees with a mobile phone, or any digital devices (computers of all kinds - cameras, etc.), and to confiscate any mobile phone if it is seized, while students enter the committees, and to take legal action against him.
It also stipulated that the committee staff should not use the mobile phone during the course of the exam, provided that it is handed over to the security of the committee, before the start of the exam, with the exception of the committee chairman and his deputy to communicate with the operations room in case of extreme necessity, and in the interest of work.
The periodic book also stipulates working to create a psychological atmosphere for students and teachers, and to spread an atmosphere of calm and reassurance, and to avoid all actions that lead to raising feelings of tension among the examining students, in a way that achieves stability within the traffic committees, and for the public interest.
It also stipulated that the heads of the examination committees assign one of the observers who are known for their integrity and discipline to carry out the work as a security official for the committee, with the assistance of some workers to supervise the gates, during the entry and exit of students from the committee, and to contain and overcome everything that disturbs the performance of the exams.
It was also emphasized to the role supervisors that students are not present in the committees, during breaks for any reason, with the exception of those with special needs, with the presence of a supervisor with them, and never allowing the entry of bags or rolls that students carry to the committee headquarters, in addition to not allowing any entry Individuals to the committees, except for those authorized to follow the exams, and it is completely prohibited to smoke during the committee meetings, according to Ministerial Resolution No. (92) of 2001.
It was emphasized that service workers are not allowed to enter or roam within the classrooms in which the exam is taken, except after the approval of the committee chairman, and under the supervision of the head of the role in cases of extreme necessity and emergency cases.
It was also emphasized that taking into account the transfer of question and answer papers through the cars designated for that by the Directorate or the Educational Administration, while not transporting them by taxis of all kinds, and immediate reporting of any events that occur within the traffic committees, and how to dispose of them, to the management operations room, and from there to Directorate and then to the main room of the Ministry.
The periodic book also stipulates ensuring that the legal conditions are met for all the gentlemen participating in the exam work in all its stages, and that the necessary declarations of impediments are taken, in addition to the obligation of the committee chairman and the security official not to leave at the end of the day except after making sure that all students have left the school safely, and measures have been taken. All the procedures related to the answer papers, with the implementation of the permanent security instructions related to the procedures for closing the committee, and ensuring the presence of the necessary guards, as well as the commitment of the security officials in the educational directorates and departments affiliated to them to supervise the implementation of these instructions accurately.
