In order to follow up on the educational system in various schools in the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia, conducted an inspection tour this morning of a number of schools in the governorate to follow up on the regularity of the school year.

They were accompanied during the tour by Dr. Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up, and Dr. Mahmoud Al-Fouly, Director of the Education Directorate in Menoufia.

The total number of schools in Menoufia Governorate is 2688 schools, and the total number of students is 1077466 male and female students.

The Minister and the Governor began their inspection tour by visiting Qweisna Official Distinguished Language School affiliated with Qweisna Education Administration, where they listened from the school principal to the mechanisms for reducing classroom densities, as well as the mechanisms for the educational process in the school.

The Minister and the Governor attended the morning assembly at the school, and inspected the kindergarten halls and a number of primary school classes.

Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif was keen to follow up on the students’ performance of homework, class notebooks, weekly assessments, and also to follow up on the students’ level and performance in reading. Following that, the Minister and the Governor headed to the Martyr Alaa Mohamed El-Dessouky Girls' Advanced Secondary School for Languages, affiliated with the Qweisna Education Administration, which includes 950 students.

The Minister and the Governor inspected a number of the school's classes and held a dialogue with the students about their aspirations for the future, as the Minister of Education directed the students to search for the most important jobs in the future, which will witness the creation of new jobs related to the study of computers, information and artificial intelligence.

While following up on the students' class notebooks and homework, the Minister praised the mathematics and English teachers for their distinguished performance with the students and their good follow-up with them.

The Minister and the Governor also made a surprise visit to Mustafa Kamel Elementary School, affiliated with the Qweisna Education Administration, which includes 1,097 male and female students, where they inspected a number of the school's classes and followed up on the class notebooks and homework, in addition to the Minister's keenness to follow up on the students' level in reading.
