The Ministry of Education announces the operations room report on the seventh day of the second round exams
High school students took the second round exams this morning to complete the high school certificate for the academic year 2023/2024, as students of the scientific division (science and sports) took the exam in chemistry during the first period, with a total number of (15,507) students, while high school students of the literary division took the second round exam in geography with a total number of (6,061) students.
Two students from the schools of excellence for science and technology also took the concept scales exam (physics).
Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister, General President of the General Secondary Examinations, was keen, before the exams began, to communicate with all directors of educational directorates present in the local operations rooms, and he also reassured the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Interior; To secure the headquarters of the traffic committees in all governorates.
The Deputy Minister stressed the need to follow up on all stages of the second round of high school exams, starting with printing the questions, and transferring them to the exam booklet distribution centers, then the exam progress committees, and the system and monitoring committees.
Members of the electronic cheating combat team in the central operations room were able to monitor 4 cases of cheating, as a female student was caught in a committee in the Nozha Educational Administration in Cairo Governorate during a geography exam while attempting to cheat electronically using a mobile phone, and a female student was caught in a committee in the East Zagazig Administration in Sharqia Governorate while attempting to cheat electronically using a mobile phone during a geography exam, and a male student was caught in a committee in the Manshiyat Qanater Administration in Giza Governorate while attempting to cheat electronically using a mobile phone during a chemistry exam, and another male student was caught in a committee in the Shorouk Administration in Cairo Governorate while attempting to cheat electronically using a mobile phone during a chemistry exam.
The phones used were seized, and the necessary legal measures were taken against the aforementioned students, and Ministerial Resolution No. 34 of 2018 regarding the regulation of exam cancellation and deprivation conditions, and Law No. 205 of 2020 regarding combating acts of disrupting exams were implemented.
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education stresses that students should not use any of the various means of cheating, stressing the need to confront any attempts to cheat, and take legal measures against any violations that occur in exams.
Secondary school students in the science department (mathematics) are scheduled to take the second round exam tomorrow, Sunday, September 1, 2024, in the subject of applied mathematics (dynamics), and students of schools for excellence in science and technology will take the university admission readiness test (biology - geology).
