The Minister of Education discusses aspects of cooperation with the representative of UNICEF in Egypt
Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, discussed, during his meeting with Jeremy Hopkins, UNICEF representative in Egypt, aspects of joint cooperation in the educational field.
At the beginning of the meeting, the minister welcomed the attendees, praising the important role played by the organization in supporting the educational sector, and the importance of continuing work between the two sides on the basis of partnership, cooperation and transparency to serve the educational process.
Hegazy pointed out that the organization has a major role in cooperating with many partners in setting the general framework for the new education system, which is taught in the primary stage, explaining that this cooperation will continue during the coming period and work on setting the general framework for preparatory curricula in the coming years.
For his part, Jeremy Hopkins, UNICEF Representative in Egypt, expressed his welcome to cooperate with the Ministry of Education in developing the educational process, pointing out that UNICEF is looking forward to creating more cooperation, strengthening partnership with the Egyptian government in the educational field, and continuing to work collectively and make more efforts. In order to stabilize the educational process.
