"Education" announces that the female students of the Sports School in Alexandria won the silver and bronze medals in the Republic Championship for Athletics under 14 years

Under the patronage of Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education participated in the activities of the Republic Championship for Athletics under the age of 14, which was organized by the Egyptian Athletics Federation at Cairo Sports Stadium, in light of the importance of supporting tournaments, activities and sports, artistic and cultural activities to achieve Optimizing the potential of students and their abilities and discovering and upgrading their talents.

The students of Cleopatra Sports School for Girls in Alexandria Governorate won silver and bronze in the Republic Championships for athletics under the age of 14, and they are: Kawthar Emad, Mariam Mohamed, and Malak Sharif.

It is worth noting that the number of sports schools at the level of the Republic is 24 sports schools, and the Ministry is in the process of establishing a number of other sports schools in various governorates. It has nutrition programmes.

These schools aim to prepare champions in various sports; To represent Egypt in international forums, as it is based on developing students’ talents, instilling and consolidating the correct concepts of sports activity, and spreading awareness and useful sports culture among students, in addition to taking care and attention to talented students, working to raise their technical and skill levels, and raising the level of physical competence, and motor and skill abilities. for students.
