Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Learning, approved the result of technical diplomas (three-year system - five-year system) for the second round of the academic year 2020/2021, where the number of students present reached 211628 male/female students, and the total of successful students reached 189766 male and female students with a rate of 89.67%. .
Dr. Muhammad Mujahid, Deputy Minister for Technical Education, said that the total number of students present reached (211628), including (2646) the five-year system, and (208982) the three-year system, and the success rates were as follows:
First: Technical Education Schools The three-year system:
Commercial secondary technical education is 88.42%, and the success rate is 92.66% for the two cycles (first - second), an increase of 7.29% over last year.
Hotel secondary technical education is 92.85%, and the success rate is 98.28% for the two cycles (first - second), an increase of 15.63% over last year.
Agricultural secondary technical education is 83.60%, and the success rate is 87.50% for both cycles (first - second), with an increase of 1.25% over last year.
Industrial secondary technical education is 93.84%, and the success rate is 95.71% for the two cycles (first - second), with an increase of 2.65% over last year.
Second: Schools of Applied Technology:
This year is the first year to graduate students from the first three schools that were established on the applied technology system. The number of students attending the second round of the applied technology schools was (35) male and female students, with a success rate of 85.71%, and a success rate of 98.10% for the two rounds (first - second). ).
Third: Dual Education and Training Schools:
The number of students attending schools of dual education and training of all kinds, including commercial, hotel, agricultural and industrial for the second round, reached (2405) male and female students, with a success rate of 95.09%, and a success rate of 98.49% for the first and second rounds, an increase of 2.44% over last year.
Fourth: Vocational Preparation Schools:
The number of students attending vocational preparation schools of all kinds, which includes hotel, agricultural and industrial for the second round, reached (32,900) male and female students, with a success rate of 86.98%, and a success rate of 83.79% for the two cycles (first - second), an increase of 1.38% over last year.
The ministry explained that, with this, the total number of successful students in the second round of all types of the three-year system will be (187120), male and female students, with a success rate of 89.54%, and a success rate of 92.74 for the first and second courses, an increase of 4.26% over last year.
Fifth: Technical Education Schools (the five-year system):
Commercial secondary technical education is 99.55%, and the success rate is 99.79% for both cycles (first - second), with an increase of 0.27% over last year.
Hotel secondary technical education 98.86%, and a success rate of 98.80% for the two cycles (first - second), an increase of 1.81% over last year.
Agricultural secondary technical education is 94.81%, and the success rate is 93.72% for both cycles (first - second), a decrease of 1.8% over last year.
Industrial secondary technical education 97.92%, and a success rate of 98.73% for the two cycles (first - second), a decrease of 0.39% over last year.
Thus, the total number of successful students in the second round of all types of the five-year system is (2646) male and female students, with a success rate of 98.15%, and a success rate of 98.98% for the two cycles (first - second), an increase of 0.29% over last year.
Sixth: integration students
