The Minister of Education approves the results of the second round of technical diplomas 2021/2022

Today, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, approved the results of the technical diploma exams for the second round 2021/2022, with a success rate of (91.27%).

His Excellency thanked all technical education cadres, students and parents for their sincere effort throughout the school year, praising the success of technical education in committing to achieving planned achievements according to the strategy of developing technical education, and with the participation of representatives of the labor market and residents of the Ministry of Education in evaluating students studying the developed study programs On the methodology of professional competencies required in the labor market.

The minister pointed to the optimal use of technical education for its capabilities and the built capabilities to provide an additional explanation of the curricula and lessons On-Line by allocating the Egypt Channel for Technical Education to provide an explanation for all technical education programs only at a rate of 11 hours per day, and the establishment of 6 channels for technical education on-line. YouTube to explain courses and reviews, create and activate technical education sector forums to provide links to explain lessons and communicate with students, as well as activate technical education channels in educational directorates, communication pages for technical schools and the efforts currently underway to upload educational materials on the technical education platform on the ministry’s website.

The Minister praised the application of the necessary precautionary measures to preserve the health of both students and teachers while conducting practical, laboratory and written examinations for technical diplomas during the period from July 30 to August 11, 2022, which were submitted to 220 thousand students and supervised by 34 thousand teachers, in 447 committees, which passed peacefully without Registration of any case of infection or suspected of the Corona virus.

Dr. Muhammad Mujahid, Deputy Minister for Technical Education, explained that the result of technical diplomas has special features, as the names of the certificates vary to reach 22 certificates, as a result of the multiplicity of specializations (industrial - agricultural - commercial - hotel), and the presence of two study systems (3 years - 5 years). ), and the presence of more than one method of study (regular study - study in the dual education system - study in the vocational preparation system).

Dr. Mujahid declared the most important features of the result as follows:

The 5-year system: 3,430 students attended (4 certificates) with a success rate of 96.79%, a decrease of 0.51% over the previous year.

3-year system: 180,580 students attended (4 certificates) with a success rate of 92.01%, an increase of 0.20% over the previous year.

3-year system - dual education and training: A number of 2,615 students attended (4 certificates) with a success rate of 95.14%, a decrease of 0.22% over the previous year.

3-year system: programs developed according to the merits methodology - 2,675 students attended (4 certificates) with a success rate of 95.10% (with the participation of labor market representatives in the evaluation process).

Applied Technology 3-year system: 380 students attended (3 certificates) with a 100% success rate.

3-year system - vocational preparation: 32,609 students attended (3 certificates) with a success rate of 86.44%, an increase of 3.06% over the previous year.
